Assign an Application

There are two methods for assigning applications to certificates. If SCEP is not being used, application assignment can be done at the same time as certificate installation when running the [Combination Tasks] → [Associate and Install Certificate] task. Otherwise, the application assignment must be done as a separate step.

1. Select the device certificate slot where the CSR for the generated certificate exists, and then from the [Certificate] menu, select [Combination Tasks] → [Associate and Install Certificate].

2. Import the certificate file or paste the contents into the [Associate Certificate to CSR] field and click (OK).

3. Choose the application which will be assigned to the certificate and click (OK).

By doing so, the following is executed.

• The certificate is associated with the CSR.

• The certificate is installed.

• The application assignment is completed.
